If reports are to be believed, the Packers offered Brett Favre $20 million to stay retired.
Honestly, either let him come back and challenge for the starting position in Green Bay or ship him off to somewhere else.
As I said before, this will play out in the court of public opinion over the long term… and now it’s the Packers turn to look classless in this sordid mess.

Brett Favre won’t be reporting to Packers’ training camp, and Mike McCarthy is committing the Packers to Aaron Rodgers at QB.
After more injuries to his name than solid halves of football, one hopes Rodgers can live up to management expectations… or there will be hell to pay.

Is it just me or are more first round picks signing earlier this year? Perhaps we have Bill Parcells and the Dolphins to thank for that by signing the No. 1 pick before the draft.
Now if we could only get Brett Favre on the field with somebody, we’d be set. Speaking of which, Favre Expected to Submit Letter of Reinstatement to NFL.

After saying he would only play one more season, Jason Taylor now claims he will honor the two remaining years on his contract. So much for being a loyal Dolphin. Wouldn’t it be great if his old club ends up winning more games than the Redskins this season?
And Jeremy Shockey going to New Orleans is a great move for the Saints. Sean Peyton’s offense has been in desperate need of a talented tight end to take some pressure off Drew Brees and open up the run game. NFC South, watch out!
